Check-ups, Scaling & Family Dentistry

Most dental problems are cheaper, quicker and more comfortable to fix when they are caught early. A check-up and scaling every six months is the least glamorous thing we do and the most valuable.

A routine visit takes about thirty minutes: we examine your teeth and gums, take X-rays if they are due, remove the hardened plaque a toothbrush cannot shift, and polish. If we spot something, you will hear about it in plain language — what it is, whether it needs treating now or can be watched, and what it will cost.

Children are welcome at both clinics. We keep first visits short and unhurried so that the dentist becomes somewhere ordinary rather than somewhere frightening.
Teeth Whitening
Years of coffee, tea, soft drinks and tobacco leave their mark. Professional teeth whitening lifts that staining and brings your natural shade back — often several shades brighter than an over-the-counter kit can manage, and far more evenly.
You have two options at our Singapore clinics. In-clinic whitening takes about an hour, and you will see the difference before you leave the chair — the usual choice before a wedding, a shoot or a big presentation. Take-home whitening uses custom trays moulded to your teeth, worn a little each day over two to three weeks, for a gradual change at your own pace.
Good to know: whitening works on natural tooth enamel. It will not change the colour of crowns, veneers or fillings, so if you have visible restorations we will plan the shade around them.
Braces, Invisalign, Zenyum & Retainers for Children and Adults
Straightening teeth is not only about how a smile looks. Crowded or misaligned teeth are harder to clean, wear unevenly, and put strain on the jaw. We treat both children and adults, and it is never too late to start.
Metal braces — the most established and most economical option, and still the most versatile for complex cases. Ceramic braces — the same mechanics, with tooth-coloured brackets that are far less noticeable in photos and across a meeting table. Invisalign clear aligners — a series of removable, near-invisible trays. You take them out to eat and to brush, which many adult patients find fits their working life better.
Good to know: we will show you what is realistic for your teeth at the first consultation, including roughly how long treatment will run and what each option costs, so you can choose with the full picture.
Root Canal Treatment
Root canal treatment has a worse reputation than it deserves. It is the treatment that ends toothache, and it saves a tooth that would otherwise have to come out.
When the nerve inside a tooth becomes inflamed or infected — usually from deep decay, a crack, or an old failing filling — the pressure inside causes that deep, throbbing pain. We numb the area, remove the infected pulp, clean and shape the canals inside the root, then fill and seal them. Most teeth are then fitted with a crown to protect them for the long term.
Good to know: if you are in pain now, call the clinic rather than waiting for your next scheduled visit. We keep time aside each day for patients who need to be seen quickly.
Wisdom Tooth Extraction & Surgery
Wisdom teeth arrive last and often find no room left. When one comes through at an angle, only partly breaks the gum, or decays where a toothbrush cannot reach, it causes recurring swelling, pressure and infection — and it can damage the healthy tooth beside it.
We take an X-ray to see exactly how the tooth is sitting, then talk you through whether a simple extraction is enough or whether surgical removal is the safer route. The procedure is done under local anaesthetic, and you go home the same day with clear aftercare instructions and our number if anything worries you.
Good to know: surgical wisdom tooth removal can usually be claimed against MediSave, and we are a MediSave-accredited clinic. It applies to surgical removal rather than a simple extraction, and the claimable amount depends on how the tooth is sitting — which we can only tell from the X-ray. We will confirm what you can claim before you agree to anything.
Dental Implants
A missing tooth changes more than your smile — it changes how you chew, how you speak, and over time it lets the neighbouring teeth drift. A dental implant is the closest thing to getting the original tooth back.
We place a small titanium post into the jawbone, where it takes over the job of the natural root. Bone heals around it over the following months, and once it is solid we attach a custom-made crown colour-matched to your other teeth. The result looks and works like a normal tooth — you brush it, floss it, and eat what you like.
Good to know: implants are done in stages over several months, not in one visit. We will map out the full timeline and cost at your consultation, so there are no surprises partway through.
Crowns, Bridges, Dentures & Veneers
When a tooth is cracked, heavily worn, or already gone, the goal is the same: get you back to eating comfortably and smiling without thinking about it.
Crowns cap and protect a tooth that is too damaged for a filling. Bridges span a gap using the teeth on either side as support. Dentures — full or partial — replace several missing teeth and are made to fit your mouth, not off a shelf. Veneers, inlays and onlays restore the front surfaces of teeth that are chipped, stained or unevenly shaped.
We also make custom mouthguards for sport and for night-time grinding, and retainers to hold your teeth in place after braces.
Good to know: every restoration is colour-matched to your surrounding teeth. Done well, nobody should be able to tell which tooth we worked on.
